Staircases, skyscrapers, road signs, newsstands–familiar street sightings in Hong Kong that are sometimes taken for granted. But to a practiced eye, these are the true icons of Hong Kong that convey the city’s unusual heritage, energy and beauty. Photographer Victoria Tang-Owen, in collaboration with Tod’s, has revealed a rare juxtaposition of these fascinating fragments of Hong Kong with the world of Italian refinement.

Sound and Vision of Hong Kong is a series of images showcasing the brand’s FW16 collection through the lens of talented photographer Victoria Tang-Owen.

The photographer, graphic designer and founder of creative studio Thirty30 Creative has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Tokyo and London. Her works have been published in regional and global publications including V Magazine, Vogue Paris, GQ China and L’uomo Vogue. However, it is Hong Kong that Victoria calls home, being fascinated by its unique energy and evolving creative scene.

In Victoria’s latest series, Tod’s FW16 collection is pictured at places that are recognisably Hong Kong, with a stunning visual appeal that radiates from the products’ elegant craftsmanship and their vibrant surroundings.

Tod’s unique brand of casual luxe takes on a strong and fresh vibe. The stylish Double T Bag and contemporary Wave bag for women, the urban Leo Clamp gommino, sneaker and Envelope bag for men, are all objects of desire: chic, functional and always exclusively made in Italy.

Hong Kong is a city to walk in, and this beautifully crafted collection offers just about the perfect shoes and accessories for a walk through the city.
