Benoit 'Revert' Ollive, urban artist

What I'm listening to: mostly the Geographers (Kites in particular), Julian Casablancas and Neon Indian. They bring a summer feel to my days and I enjoy listening to them while I'm painting or drawing.

What I'm reading: the other week I found a box full of books on a corner near my flat in Paris. I took a few and started to read Another Bulls*** Night in Suck City by Nick Flynn, a memoir about the author's homeless father. For a book found on the street, the subject is relevant isn't it?

What I'm watching: I'm a big fan of The Cleveland Show and The Simpsons. I also like to watch low-budget action movies such as Machete, Planet Terror and Black Dynamite.

What artists I'm following: most of the artists I follow now are close friends, but my top three of all time would be Gordon Matta-Clark, Georges Rousse and Pierre Soulages. I am also inspired by a movement called graffuturism, which is a mixture of contemporary graffiti and architecture.

Where I'm surfing: I like to keep an eye on Behance, Ffffound, Graffuturism, All City Blog, Pinterest and Tumblr to stay in touch with graphic design and graffiti news. I also spend a lot of time on my own website (graphicfury.com).

Revert's first solo Hong Kong exhibition opens at The Space on June 14
