'I think a lot of my horses belong in a mental asylum'

Trainer Almond Lee isn't entirely sure why but he reckons he gets a high percentage of head cases among his horses. Without a winner since late February, Lee and jockey Keith Yeung Ming-lun landed a race-to-race double with Notus and Dragon Victory, who both have issues with being cluttered up. 'I think a lot of my horses belong in a mental asylum - they need to be out and have plenty of room or they don't race their best,' Lee commented. 'Both of these horses are like that.' Notus therefore appreciated a three-wide journey in race five to again surprise punters as he had when successful at 40-1 earlier in the season, while Dragon Victory was left alone out in front in race six.
