Seventies glamour meets sunny California in this season's women's line from Jimmy Choo, says co-creative director Sandra Choi. 'It was about using a '70s influence with plenty of sportswear references, lots of wedges and laces.' The collection features neutral colours injected with bright shades of gold and jade green. Saturated snaps of skateboarders and surfers appear on clutches (such as Candy, above), and the slouchy Justine bowling bag takes a leaf out of chic French film star Anouk Aimee's book. 'I love the Iris shoes inspired by style icon Iris Apfel,' says co-creative director Simon Holloway. 'She had this high/low, magpie instinct and mixed haute couture with ethnic stuff. We were inspired by one of her bracelets and created macrame woven sandals with resin beads.' The men's line includes stand-outs such as the Hamilton, a fresh take on the tasselled loafer, and the Dunraven lace-up chukka boot. Also look for trainers, biker boots, drivers and boat shoes.
