The vibe: a tapas bar so named because Hong Kong is at 22 degrees north latitude, the vibe is neither Spain nor Hong Kong. The small, intimate venue is a relaxed place to catch up with friends - not too busy, and the music was quiet. The tapas menu - new since our last review - was tantalising. Service was efficient, but our waitress was unsmiling and seemed bored, which didn't help the bland atmosphere.

The drinks: all wines are offered by the glass or bottle, and there's a nice selection, although only one is from Spain. A favourite was the Chilean Casa La Joya Carmenere Reserve 2008 (HK$64 per glass). The list seems to be still expanding, as the Woodhaven merlot is 'coming soon' at HK$62 per glass. The menu also includes several choices of tequila, and a house sangria (HK$55/glass; HK$210/carafe). The cocktails were pretty average, with a bog-standard list on offer. The mojito (HK$75) was too sweet, with less bite than we would have liked. My friend's White Russian (HK$65) was mellow and perhaps too smooth, and my Singapore Sling (HK$75) tasted like fruit juice. My Long Island iced tea (HK$85) was not as strong as expected, but enjoyable. Beer drinkersmay be pleased to see some more unusual bottled choices, such as Black Sheep Ale and Fuller's London Pride (both HK$68).

The verdict: There's nothing memorable about this place, which doesn't quite live up to the Soho vibe. If you're in the mood for something Spanish, the tapas, sangria and tequila should sort you out. Happy hour is from 5pm-8pm every day.
