Moiselle's Harris Chan Pak-hei is on a roll. The local fashion house just launched its flagship store on Pak Sha Road in Causeway Bay last year, and last week his select shop called Dour Studio opened its doors.
Dour Studio, in partnership with celebrity-turned-entrepreneur Lillian Ho Ka-lei, is at an upstairs location on the same street as the flagship store.
The founders spent a year preparing for the boutique, which sells everything from men and women's wear, accessories, CDs and coffee table books. Some of the brands include Sang A, Injury and Auden.
Although co-founder Ho, who is six months pregnant, paired her neon outfit from head to with 10cm heels.
Ho, who is expecting a son in September, says her husband did not ban her from wearing high heels while she is pregnant, but asked her to be extra careful and she's only wearing the heels to big events such as the opening of her boutique.
The duo's celebrity friends came out in force, such as model Kathy Chow Man-kei and Canto-pop singer Kary Ng Yu-fei, who celebrated her 26th birthday over the weekend in Thailand.
It seems Pak Sha Road is the next hip street for shoppers. Hilary Tsui Ho-ying's upstairs boutique Liger and a string of stores have been popular with those in the know.
