Communications and PR manager, teacher assistants

The 500-employee Hong Kong International School (HKIS), based in Repulse Bay and Tai Tam, is recruiting a communications and public relations manager as well as teacher assistants.
The communications manager will join the seven-member advancement office in a challenging role that interacts with stakeholders of one of the best-known international schools in the city. The position calls for a native English speaker who has experience in both communications and journalism.
'I am looking for a strong communicator who has superlative writing skills, ideally earned in a journalism setting,' says Erik Dierks, chief advancement officer.
The right person will be involved in both external and internal communications, including media and marketing programmes, and should be familiar with producing print and online publications and website content.
The school is also recruiting teacher assistants who are highly involved in classroom education. They also handle administrative duties, freeing teachers to focus on engaging with students. Teaching assistants come to HKIS with broad experience and may continue their studies, developing their career and making education their vocation.
