Fines review

THE level of fixed penalty fines for traffic offences will be reviewed this year to see if they are enough of a deterrent, Secretary for Transport Haider Barma said. Mr Barma said that the Government was considering extending no-stopping restrictions, including banning goods vehicles from loading and unloading during the day in busy areas, to maximise road capacity.
