Gas output to explode

MALAYSIA'S third liquefied natural gas plant, which should come on stream in 2000, will boost production by about one billion standard cubic feet per day.

The plant at Bintulu, 1,160 kilometres southeast of the capital, in Sarawak, will cost about M$17 billion (about HK$53.66 billion).
