Clarification

In the front page story headlined, 'Crawling beggar finally regains crutches' (South China Morning Post, April 9), it was reported that, 'Correctional Services Officers made no move to help Cheung, 27, as he dragged himself into the dock at Sha Tin Court.' I would like to point out that there were no Correctional Services Department (CSD) officers in the court room.

CSD is not responsible for producing prisoners in magistrates' courts.
