Unfortunate

We refer to your report by Brendan Delfino, on the cancellation of the second toll-free day at the Western Harbour Crossing (South China Morning Post, May 7).

It is unfortunate that drivers have one less opportunity to familiarise themselves with the new road networks, compliments of the tunnel management. We note that the harbour crossing and approach road associated with it as part of the Joint Venture works have all been completed.

To help the tunnel project to be an undisputed success, we sincerely hope that other construction activities may soon be completed on Connaught Road. By then, drivers can enjoy the benefits of using the congestion-free Western Harbour Crossing that we have provided.
