Cuts help troubled Benelux turn around with $193m gain

Troubled floppy disk-maker Benelux International said it earned $193.91 million for the half year to September, against a loss of $42.21 million last year. Turnover was $87.9 million compared with $267.5 million over the same period. The company said it had pursued its aim of cost effectiveness by continuing to cut-back.
