Le Saunda slides into the red

Shoe manufacturer Le Saunda Holdings announced a $29.8 million attributable loss for the six months to August 31, down from $28.6 million profit for the same period last year. Loss per share was 6.6 cents compared with earnings last year of 6.4 cents. The board did not recommend the payment of an interim dividend in contrast to last year's payment of three cents.
