Damage

Sylvia Pong, who complained about being overcharged in a carpark (Sunday Morning Post, November 8) has a justifiable case. It is certainly wrong to be charged for waiting time when trying to get out of a carpark.

However instead of complaining she should use this opportunity to reconsider her own reasons for owning a motor car and to think about the damage to the environment her 40 minutes of queueing has caused.
