Systems integrator Datacraft China has won a US$4 million contract to design and build a high-speed pilot ATM network for Fujian Post and Telecommunications Administration.
The ATM technology will be used to consolidate multiple traffic types on to a single multi-service backbone.
The network will be used to support services such as broadband Internet, video on demand, tele-medicine and distance learning.
