Can I make two tiny suggestions for the further improvement of the World's Finest Airport? First, a children's play- room on the air-side would be a good idea. It need not be anything more than a climbing frame and a lot of Lego, but it would make life far easier for harassed parents. Manila has one - why not Hong Kong? Second, there is no air-side ATM.
Kai Tak had an HSBC ETC on the air-side and from my observations over the years it was pretty well used - the bank's records could confirm this. Retailers, who are mainly air-side, would certainly benefit.
Neither idea would cost more than petty cash; both would increase 'customer satisfaction'.
