HONG KONG parents are sending their children to a British-style boarding school in the Thai jungle in search of cheaper fees and cleaner air.
Dulwich International College offers cut-price public school education in the centre of Phuket island, in colonial buildings styled on its parent school, the famous Dulwich College in London.
Headmaster Christopher Charleson expects an influx of Hong Kong pupils next September after a surge in inquiries.
'We already have 10 students from Hong Kong and many more are interested because of our cheaper fees and fresh air,' he said.
The school counts members of the Thai royal family among its pupils.
