Amoy wins building nod

Amoy Properties has secured approval to develop a 29-storey residential tower on a Ho Man Tin site it bought for HK$251 million at government auction last June. The project will provide about 114,680 square feet of domestic floor space and 23,000 sq ft of commercial area.

Shanghai Industrial received the go-ahead for a revised plan to build six 45-storey residential towers over five podium levels in To Kwa Wan. The project, a joint venture with Cheung Kong (Holdings) and New World Development, can provide a total floor area of 1.27 million sq ft.

These were among 20 building plans approved in November by the Buildings Department. Pacific Top Development received approval to build 101 low-rise apartment blocks in Shek Kong, Yuen Long. Circle World will build 29 apartment blocks in Shan Tong Road, Tai Po.
