Oh, Vienna

TWENTY-SIX DANCING debutante couples between the ages of 16 and 19 graced the floor at the Vienna Opera Ball, organised by Austrian Johanna Arculli, wife of barrister Ronald. Macau gambling supremo and long-time racing buddy of the Arcullis, Stanley Ho Hung-sun kicked up his heels on the dance floor - and provided a mini-casino in the Grand Hyatt ballroom.

'Gamblers' donated money to the Helping Hands charity for the elderly and the Austrian Association Youth Scholarship in exchange for prizes, raising $250,000 in the process. Hong Kong's social elite such as Count Enzio and Countess Elizabeth von Pfeil were in attendance, as were Chinese art collectors George and Mary Bloch.
