New flight path?

It may be my imagination but for the last week or two the noise from aircraft above the Causeway Bay, Tai Hang Road, Jardine's Lookout area of Hong Kong Island has been getting louder.

On Sunday, August 11, I could hear aircraft noise at regular, two-minute intervals for much of the day. Sometimes I could not hear the television. Are aircraft now on a different flight path? We were told when Chek Lap Kok opened that one of its advantages would be less aircraft noise in urban areas.

The relevant officials should re-route the planes to ensure there is less noise.
