Charities Trust donates $140m to fund for needy students in life learning

A fund to support needy students and encourage participation in life-wide learning programmes was set up by the Education Department with a donation of $140 million from Hong Kong Charities Trust. Schools can apply to the fund up to the end of next week by completing a form on the department Web site. They can also access a life-wide learning activities data bank at http://cd.ed.gov.hk/lwl/
