Australian chef Ben O'Donoghue starts his journey in Casablanca with a typical Moroccan breakfast before visiting the best new place in town, Les Petits Roches. Here he meets the owner and finds out about the local culture and the restaurant's food and ambience. O'Donoghue then heads north to Fez where he is invited into an old home to learn how to cook harira, the soup that breaks the Ramadan fast.

Venturing up through the snow-capped Mid-Atlas mountains to the Sahara, O'Donoghue meets a nomadic family and learns how they survive in a desert that has been crippled by drought for more than three years.

Nuclear Terrorism: Blinding Horizons

World, 10pm

Peter Bergen, author of the best-seller Holy War, Inc and the first Western television journalist to interview Osama bin Laden, investigates the secret world of nuclear smuggling. Bergen examines the possibility that the al-Qaeda leader may have held meetings in Afghanistan with scientists who had worked on Pakistan's nuclear programme. In Moscow, he looks at the level of security employed to protect nuclear materials in Russia from the possibility of theft.
