This year's Foreign Correspondent's Club (FCC) charity ball has not only garnered support from the local community but also international celebrities.

Mary Wilson, she of the Supremes fame, will be performing at the gala, while Hong Kong's Real Madrid Fan Club is providing a signed football jersey for auction.

A similar jersey raised $360,000 for the Community Chest during the team's visit last month, and the FCC is hoping to match that amount to give to the Po Leung Kuk, which helps fund education for underprivileged children.
