Mence: I think Christmas is such a happy time of year. In our family it's a time to give thanks and eat good food - it's just a little bit too easy to put on weight!

Vicky: It's the party season. I just love to go out and have some fun, and catch up with some rest too.

Venice: It's not so easy for me: I'm the designated cook for the whole family. Most of my Christmas Day is taken up with cooking an enormous turkey.

Mence: We're a very close family. We all live on different floors of the same building, and that makes it easy to see each other regularly. That's handy because, with all our children, we have birthdays all the time.

Vicky: Every day is Christmas in our family; we celebrate all the time.

Venice: But when Christmas comes round it gets even more exciting. We have a very full house, because all our relatives come, including our aunties in Australia and a lot of close friends.

Mence: We always put decorations up throughout the house and make it look really festive.

Vicky: Between us we have quite a lot of kids, and they get very excited at Christmas time. Of course, they all want the most expensive presents possible.

Mence: We try our best to resist, but I think we always seem to give in and get what they want in the end.

Venice: I think it's just such a nice, warm and enjoyable holiday to have in the middle of winter, and a great time to be together as a family.
