Question of the week: What's the worst outfit you've ever worn?

Jonathan Chun, 14

Once a year at my school, there is a day where everyone has to dress as the opposite gender, so I borrowed a skirt and a baby tee from a friend. It looked weird and felt uncomfortable because my boxers were longer than the skirt. It was very embarrassing.

Jisoo Kim, 17

The clothes that I wore to my Year 12 biology field trip. It was so ghetto that I've buried the memory of it beneath my subconscious mind. I had to be prepared for knee-deep mud in the mangroves, so fashion was not an issue at the time.

Roshini Chotrani, 14

A clown outfit. Two months ago, my mum organised a charity show for needy children in Hong Kong. I entertained them while dressed in a pair of big, red shoes and an ugly, colourful wig. The outfit fit too loosely and when I walked, the kids said I looked like a zombie.

Dimple Motwani, 14

A few years ago, I had to wear a dress with a hat. The worst part of the ordeal was that I had to dance in the outfit. Mid-way through the dance, my hat fell off! I swore never to wear that outfit again, as it was one of my most embarrassing moments and I cringe to even think of it.

Tina Yip, 14

A few years ago, my friends and I decided that we would each choose a colour and wear nothing but that specific colour for Halloween. I wore a pink singlet with a star on it, tight pink pants and a neon pink sweater. When I arrived at school, my friends were dressed in beautiful costumes. The idea of dressing in colours turned out to be a joke! I felt humiliated.

Amily Lam, 16

Most young women adore miniskirts. But to be honest, I hate them. I once wore a skirt to a party and felt as if I was wearing a clown costume. The only skirt I ever wear now is the one for my school uniform.
