Taking shapes

French jeweller Mauboussin, known for its use of colourful gemstones, has launched the artistic Femmes Subtile and Chance of Love collections for autumn. The Femmes Subtile line includes a range of rings that feature classic shapes such as hearts, moons, stars and the brand's signature four-leaf clover. Add some colour to your almost-black wardrobe this season with the Subtile Raison ring (below; $19,600), which features a heart-shaped smoky quartz surrounded by orange and dark orange sapphires set in pink gold.
