Ginger Mak Jun-ki hits a tee shot on her way to blitzing the field to win the Helene et Henri Ladies Close Championship at Hong Kong Golf Club yesterday.
In one of the most dominant performances in the history of Hong Kong amateur golf, Mak cruised to an 18-shot victory.
The 15-year-old fired a solid final round of 74 for a three-day total of 11-over-par 224 to finish well ahead of second-placed Raniasih Pomareda on 242, followed by Lyra Yoe on 244.
'It's my biggest win,' Mak said. 'I haven't been playing very well over the past year, but in the past two months I've been working really hard and it's paid off.'
