In other sideline Cannes news, socialite-turned-actress Teresa Cheung Siu-wai (left) is there apparently negotiating to appear in a French movie. She was also seen warming up to director Oliver Stone at the party for the mainland's film version of Hamlet, The Banquet. Stone is well known for his interest in, shall we say, Asian subjects.

Also schmoozing in the South of France is Aiya Media's Jacob Mense (right), who when contacted remained tightlipped as he told us, 'can't give you too many details about my projects yet, except that they're on fire! One is a movie version of our show MTV Whatever Things but with an insane twist. But the parties have been awesome.'
