Here's a chance to make your mark on a new area of sales at a well-known global information company.
Reuters is one of the world's largest international news and financial information sources. The Reuters Group has 16,800 employees in 89 countries, providing information tailored for professionals in the financial services, media and corporate markets.
Although Reuters is best known as a large international multimedia news agency, more than 90 per cent of its revenue is derived from the financial services business.
'In the last two years or so, Reuters has [made] real strides in producing leading products and content for this asset class,' said Danny Wong Wing-kit, head of sales for North Asia, of its investment in research and development of fixed income/credit derivatives products.
His sales department is looking to further expand into servicing clients dealing in fixed income/credit derivatives.
To assist in this expansion, Reuters is looking for a fixed income sales specialist who understands the financial market and can explain the value proposition of Reuters' products and services to potential clients to win their business. The sales specialist will be working with 20 regional team members who are based across North Asia - comprised of Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan.
In addition to the right personality, five to seven years of work experience in the financial markets is required.
