Venus rising

Much like last spring, the focus this season is on pretty dresses with a girly vibe, as seen at brands such as Louis Vuitton. Local label Pocket Venus has followed suit, adding its own vintage touch to its spring/summer collection. Inspired by mythical sirens and the vibrant colours of the Mediterranean, the collection's dresses wouldn't look amiss on a Greek goddess. Standouts include an embroidered organza antique rose strapless dress (left; HK$2,873) with fabric cascades at the back. For something more modern, try the black dress with contrasting white applique circles on the neckline and fishtail back (HK$2,902).
