Find your mistakes and learn from them
I simply can't believe that I failed Chinese for the third time this academic year.
My learning attitude has improved a lot, but I still couldn't get a pass.
Being a Hong Kong student in an elite class, I feel ashamed.
I'm not hoping to get high marks. I just want to pass the tests and exams. Instead of improving, my results are getting worse.
I feel helpless and worried . Every day, I wonder if I will be promoted to Form Four.
I definitely don't want to repeat Form Three. What can I do?

Thanks for your letter, Nelson. It sounds as though you are trying, but that you are not making much progress. This can be very frustrating.
I admire your determined attitude, and that you are prepared to pick yourself up after a failure and try again. The secret now, is to make sure that you are learning from your mistakes.
I suggest that you speak to your form teacher - perhaps even show her this letter.
She should be able to point out where you are going wrong and what you need to focus your attention on.
