Golf label tees off

Chervo, an Italian-based golf and sportswear specialist, has opened its first boutique in Hong Kong. The new 740sqft shop (right) features materials such as oak wood, frosted glass and brushed steel accented with green leather finishings. Boutique opens in the city

German women's label Luisa Cerano has also opened its first shop in Hong Kong. The under-stated green, grey, white interior was designed by German architects Blocher Blocher Partners and reflects the design of Luisa Cerano stores worldwide. Back in business

Sole Alliance has reopened its shop in Kowloon. The 600sqft women's footwear store (below) stocks labels such as JLo by Jennifer Lopez, Arturo Chiang, Betsey Johnson and Jessica Simpson. Best foot forward

Sole Town, a footwear mega-store, will open its doors on June 13 in Causeway Bay. Covering 14,000sqft, the emporium will carry footwear and accessories for men, women and children from labels such as Nine West, Enzo Angiolini, Betsey Johnson, Arturo Chiang, Steve Madden, Easy Spirit, Francesco Biasia and many more. Scassi's take on ready-to-wear

American couturier Arnold Scassi, who has dressed the likes of Jackie Onassis and Barbra Streisand, has announced his return to fashion on The Martha Stewart Show. Scassi showed pieces from his ready-to-wear collection, including a hot pink bias-cut gown and a red strapless cocktail dress, due out in autumn.

Robinson fills the Gap

Designer Patrick Robinson has been named the new creative head of Gap, according to Fashion Wire Daily. Robinson was formerly the artistic director of the now defunct French fashion house Paco Rabanne and had worked as a designer at brands such as Perry Ellis.

Armani's Ocean-going adventure

Giorgio Armani has added another film partnership to his resume. The Italian designer collaborated with costume designer Louise Frogley to dress the stars of Ocean's Thirteen, including George Clooney.

All change at Vionnet

London-based Greek designer Sophia Kokosalaki has announced that she'll leave Vionnet after 10 months. The designer was appointed artistic director to breathe life into the French label created in 1912 by Madeleine Vionnet. Kokosalaki has decided to concentrate on her own label and will be replaced by Marc Audibet.
