Driver pinned by rolling truck

A truck driver became trapped between his vehicle and a parked car after he tried to stop the 5.5-tonne truck rolling forward. The 51-year-old was loading goods into his vehicle in Stone Nullah Lane, Wan Chai, at about 10am. 'The lorry suddenly moved forward. The driver stood in front of his vehicle and tried to hold it back but was trapped between the two vehicles,' a police spokesman said. About 10 men pushed the truck back to free the victim. He was taken to hospital and discharged after treatment.
