Dos & don'ts

DO: Switch off your phone when you're out on the course.

DON'T: Talk while golfers are taking their swing.

DO: Drink plenty of fluids.

DON'T: Ever, under any circumstances, yell 'It's in the hole!'

DO: Remember to bring a hat - a day in the sun can mess with your mind.

DON'T: Think that what's fashionable on the golf course is fashionable off the golf course.

DO: Keep an eye out for snakes.

DON'T: Bring a bucket and spade, despite what you've heard about the amount of sand on the Olazabal course.

DO: Use sunscreen as well as that hat.

DON'T: Forget which kind of birdies you should be cheering.

DO: Remember to stay behind the ropes when asked to.

DON'T: Try to teach anyone the difference between a wedge and a wedgie.

DO: Enjoy watching some great players.

BUT DON'T: Forget to switch off your phone!
