Warning on 'Viagra' capsules

The Department of Health warned the public last night to seek medical advice before taking health products for sexual dysfunction after four people suffered serious side effects last month. The four had taken unlabelled red and yellow capsules that tests showed contained the active ingredient in Viagra, sildenafil, and a diabetes drug, glibenclamide. Side effects could include dangerously low blood pressure, headache, vomiting, dizziness and vision disturbances.
