Landmark gets in the groove

The Landmark Mandarin Oriental held an entertaining mini concert with Haitian-American musician Wyclef Jean at its MO Bar on April 21.

The member of hip hop trio The Fugees, who is also a rapper and producer, rocked the bar with his band for nearly two hours with singles from his newly-released album as well as signature tunes such as the Grammy-winning Killing Me Softly and hits from the 1980s including David Bowie's Let's Dance and a-ha's Take On Me.

The show lured some 350 music enthusiasts to the bar, among them fashion store Juice's Kevin Poon, Bonnie Brooks, Tina Jensen, Sylvaine and Sabrina Ettedgui, Sue Lewis, Marie and Raphael Le Masne de Chermont, and Kimberly Von Koontz.
