What's the boldest thing you've ever done? If the tale is outrageous, gutsy or compelling enough, you might just win the latest BlackBerry.
The PDA maker has a new phone/e-mail device called The Bold that aims to challenge the iPhone (even looks a bit like it, you think?) and the firm is trying to generate some extra buzz for this 3G smartphone.
To wit, the company Research In Motion (RIM) is sponsoring a contest in Hong Kong for people to share one 'bold' incident in their life. It will award one phone a week from now until the contest ends on August 17.
You can enter using either of two languages. The maximum length in English is 500 words and in Chinese it's 150 traditional characters. Five specific criteria are being considered: creativity; quality of writing; positive impact on you; positive impact on other people; and plain, simple boldness. Entrants must be at least 18 years old.
