Van driver, 26, killed by truck

A driver was killed when he was hit by a truck as he was getting out of his delivery van in Kowloon Bay yesterday. The 26-year-old man had parked in Wang Yuen Street at 10.40am and was hit by the truck's rear mudguard, a police investigator said. He was taken to hospital, where he was declared dead. The truck driver, 37, passed a breathalyser test. Anyone with information can call police on 2305 7582 or 2305 7500.
