Property agent denies extortion

A female property agent who allegedly threatened a man, demanding HK$10,000 from him, appeared in Eastern Court yesterday charged with two counts of blackmail. Money Leung Chin-chin, 22, pleaded not guilty to extortion. The offences were alleged to have taken place in a room at L'Hotel Causeway Bay Harbour View on January 2 last year and between January 25 and 30. Leung was released on HK$400 bail and will face trial on September 25.
