Detour party takes in Hawaii

It was 'aloha' in SoHo as the Hong Kong Ambassadors of Design launched its two-week art and design event, Detour, with a Hawaiian-themed party on November 27. More than 500 culture vultures passed through the former Police Married Quarters to check out the exhibits.

Among official guests were Chief Secretary Henry Tang Ying-yen, Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Bureau Duncan Pescod, architecture Legco member Patrick Lau Sau-shing, as well as Victor Lo Chung-wing, Douglas Young Chi-chiu and Lo Lee Oi-lin.
