The summer holidays are drawing to a close, but Hong Kong should, thankfully, still be blessed with a few weeks of more manageable sunny days as the oppressive heat starts to wane. And what better way to make use of such weather than an all-day beach party?
Billed as a 'last minute' party, the event organised by Destroyed HK - the bunch behind several other beach parties this year - appears to have a long list of treats for revellers: an all-day open bar, lucky draws, eight DJs including Jason F and Christian, and even free water sports rental for the first 500 guests.
Guests are advised not to bring their own alcohol and to register on the Destroyed HK's Facebook page before arriving, due to the 'private' nature of the event. Organisers promise the open bar will last until 11pm at least, and maybe longer, so it might be a good idea to stock up on barbecue snacks to soak some of that party atmosphere.
Sat, noon-11pm, Palm Beach Resort, 57 South Lantau Rd, Cheung Sha, Lantau. Before 3pm, HK$220 (women), HK$280 (men); after 3pm, HK$280 (women), HK$320 (men)
