Touch base The sixth-generation iPod nano was redesigned to be lighter and smaller than previous versions. It weighs 21.1 grams and measures 37.5mm by 40.9mm by 8.78mm. Apple has removed the video camera found in last year's edition but added the manufacturer's popular multitouch interface. Users can navigate their music collection by simply tapping or swiping a finger on the display. The device, which also has an FM radio, features a polished aluminium and glass enclosure with a built-in clip, making it instantly wearable. Available in six colours, the new iPod nano sells for HK$1,228 (eight-gigabyte) and HK$1,448 (16GB). A Product Red model, a portion of the sales of which goes to the Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria, is available exclusively from the online Apple Store.

Sharp shooter Casio Computer's latest Exilim digital camera, the EX-S200, is its most compact, having been made with a flat lens barrel and lens ring to achieve a stylish card-sized body that is 17.8mm thick and weighs 116 grams without the battery. It has plenty of automated features. It sports an X optical zoom lens that starts at a 27mm wide-angle view and takes pictures with a 14.1-megapixel resolution. Sudden photo opportunities can be seized while the camera is in Quick Mode function, which powers on the Exilim with a press of the shutter button, previews a picture after shooting and automatically powers down. The Premium Auto function swiftly analyses a scene to optimise set-tings, including for exposure, focus and colour balance. The EX-S200 is available in five colours and is priced at HK$2,580.

Top of its game The LifeBook NH900, Fujitsu's new flagship gaming laptop computer, provides as much action as you can handle. It sports a dual-screen design: an 18.4-inch high-definition screen and a four-inch touch-enabled auxiliary display above the keyboard, so you can attend to other tasks while playing video games. The small display, with a shortcut key function, can be used for answering online messages or reading the news. The laptop also has a five-speaker system, a Blu-ray disc drive, a 640-gigabyte hard drive, HD video and audio output, a USB 3.0 connection, an independent numeric keypad, a 1.3-megapixel webcam and a fingerprint identification system. It runs Intel's Core i7-620M processor, Nvidia GeForce GT 335M graphics chip and Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. The LifeBook NH900 costs HK$24,800.
