Interview

Natalie Chui, 14, Renaissance College

My style is ... edgy and urban. I try to show reflect the fact I'm young and fashionable through my style. What I wear depends on my mood and where I'm going, but I always try to include something interesting like a bright jacket or a sophisticated necklace.

I am ... funny, outgoing and creative. I like to wear clothes with details that will catch people's attention and show that I'm original.

I am wearing ... a Helmut Lang blazer, Marc Jacobs top, Abercrombie and Fitch shorts and vintage boots. My bag is from Marc by Marc Jacobs. My gold bracelet is from H&M and my black one is from Sha Tin.

The story behind ... my boots. They were my mother's. She used to wear them all the time during winter. She gave them to me as they fit me now. They are actually older than I am!

Shhh! Let me tell you a secret ... break out of your comfort zone! Never stick to the same look. Try on things you wouldn't normally wear. Who knows, you might actually be surprised at how great you look.

My favourite designers are ... Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen and Jean Paul Gaultier. They're not afraid to take risks, producing clothes that look like works of art. Marc Jacobs likes to use bright colours and his whimsical style makes him one of my favourites. I like Alexander McQueen because his tailoring and use of textures are impeccable. Finally, Jean Paul Gaultier is the fashion world's 'bad boy': he loves to mix things up.

I would like to look like ... Kate Moss. She's a trendsetter and she's cool. Her style is unique and defines her personality. I like the way she matches different clothes to create something that's her own.

I shop at ... H&M, little stores along Granville Road and Argyle Centre in Mong Kok.
