This week we test: shower gel

Shower gel is a popular alternative to liquid and bar soap. As well as cleansing, a good shower gel will moisturise. Best used with a bath sponge or mitt.

H2O+ Blushing Orange Shower & Bath Gel (HK$100/250ml)

With little bursting pearls of vitamin E, this invigorating (though not too zingy to use before bed) gel leaves skin and mind refreshed and soothed.

Body Shop Jolly Orange Bath & Shower Gel (HK$89/250ml)

This soap-free shower gel contains orange seed oil and has the aromatic scent of citrus and spice. It leaves your skin fresh and fragrant. The bright colour will also help to wake you up!

Clinique Happy Body Wash (HK$210/200ml)

If you like the blend of citrus and flowers that is the Clinique Happy scent, you'll love this body wash. It foams into a creamy gel and leaves your skin refreshed and perfumed.

Missha Cotton White Shower Gel (HK$118/300ml)

Thanks to its baby powder scent, this gentle gel will leave you feeling so fresh and so clean, no matter how long ago it was since you needed baby products.

Lush Comforter Shower Gel (HK$129/250g)

Though it's a bit runny, this purple gel cleanses well and leaves you smelling like you bathed in Ribena.
