The InterContinental Grand Stanford in Tsim Sha Tsui will have children's kitchen workshops this Sunday and on February 27 and March 27. Executive pastry chef Leo Tso will teach children aged four and above how to make chocolate chip and vanilla cookies. The class is limited to eight students. Les Celebrites restaurant at the Hotel Nikko in Tsim Sha Tsui is serving a black truffle dinner for HK$980 plus 10 per cent. The five-course meal is available until Monday and includes black truffle custard with crisp Iberico ham; baked Scottish salmon with white asparagus, sweet onion and truffle vinaigrette; and roast Australian beef fillet with sliced Perigord truffle, foie gras and morel mushroom cream. Duetto in Wan Chai is offering a set dinner menu for two for HK$598 per couple plus 10 per cent until the end of next month. The four-course menu includes an appetiser of crisp fish wrapped in spiced gram (chickpea) flour; tandoori salmon (below); char-grilled minced lamb rolls with chopped onions and bell peppers; and mains of tandoori prawn masala and chicken tikka lababdar (tandoori chicken with tomato and cream gravy); plus bread and dessert. Tiffin at the Grand Hyatt in Wan Chai is featuring Indian and Thai curries on its dinner buffet until the end of next month. The selection changes daily, but Indian dishes might include fresh prawn curry with onion and coriander leaf; and Kashmiri lamb curry with apricots.
