COTTON, wool, knits, weaves, embroideries and lace are among the exhibits at Interstoff Asia, which starts today.
The show will be open from 9.30am to 6pm until Friday. It is for the industry only.
Two fashion parades will give visitors an idea of what the latest fabrics will look like after they have been cut, nipped and tucked.
At 11am and 2.30pm today, students from London's Royal College of Art (RCA) will present a woollen collection.
Fabrics and yarns from leading companies, including Italy's MaxMara, Lanificio and Giancarlo, are used in the collection along with Australian Merino wools.
Wool knits and weaves will be featured in the RCA parade, at 2.30pm tomorrow and Friday.
At 11am tomorrow, five promising local fashion designers will present their Silhouette autumn and winter clothes.
The Silhouette collection is made from fabrics expected to be in vogue next year. Shows will be held tomorrow and Friday at 11am and 4pm after a special gala performance at 6pm for VIPs.
