Ketamine worth HK$140,000 seized at flat

Police arrested a 50-year-old man and seized ketamine worth about HK$140,000 at a Tai Po flat yesterday. Acting on a tip-off, officers confronted the man as he was leaving Kwong Lai House on the Kwong Fuk Estate at about noon. Police seized drugs and packaging equipment in a bedroom of the flat. Police are trying to find out how long the flat was used as an illegal drug distribution centre. Last night, the man was being held for questioning and no charges had been laid.
