MAINLAND RIDES WAVE

The abundant MICE opportunities on the mainland will be the main focus of this year's IT&CM China, held under the theme of 'Leading China's Next MICE Wave' at ShanghaiMart Expo from April 13 to 15.

According to the event organiser, the mainland's MICE industry is still growing, due to increased interest at home and from overseas. More Chinese cities now have world-class MICE facilities that meet international standards and demands.

New elements this year include two themed pavilions. The first will showcase innovative and unique convention venues, while the second will comprise a collection of health and medical suppliers, with travel wellness offerings. For the first time, the opening keynote will take the form of a panel discussion.

Three days of business, educational and networking events will include two exhibition and business appointment days, eight educational seminars and partner events such as the Future Leaders Forum. Many exhibitors are part of their national pavilions.
