Champagne toasts bid bubbly farewell to fair, but guests left with nowhere to rest sore heads

The Club Clicquot XVIII party at Kee Club sated guests' thirst for art and a glass of bubbly. The party, sponsored by champagne producer Veuve Clicquot, was held on Saturday to celebrate the annual ART HK fair, which closed the following day. Veuve Clicquot was one of the fair's sponsors.

Party regulars and the arty crowd grooved to house beats spun by DJ Hanna Hais. They also got the chance to inspect a large-scale print of French designer Mathieu Lehanneur's 'sleep capsule' art installation. The real bed, which was on show at the fair's opening cocktail party earlier in the week, had already been shipped overseas and will eventually come to rest in Veuve Clicquot's Hotel du Marc in Reims, France.

It was probably all for the best. After dancing the night away and knocking back all that bubbly, there would have been no shortage of partygoers tempted to make use of the bed.
