In yesterday's report, 'Activist's wife under scrutiny', about Hu Jia's wife, Zeng Jinyan, which appeared on page A7, the paragraph, 'But friends have been unable to reach her since her arrival on Sunday evening, prompting speculation that she may have been taken into custody,' should have gone on to say: 'However, yesterday she said she was just taken home by the authorities.' The standfirst to the story should have been updated to reflect this. The reference on page A2 to Zeng having gone missing should also have been updated.
